SHOPPING CENTRE

• The improvement of the shopping centre and the town centre is a key part of the wider regeneration across the borough
• The enhancement of Barking as a local centre, with more individual shopping and larger units, will be of great long-term benefit to the community
• A new atrium space will flood the centre in natural light and create a contemporary, light and airy ambience
• The main entrance to the shopping centre will remain on Ripple Road with the entrance opposite the station being greatly enhanced / improved

Parking

There will be a newly formed car park located on the eastern side of the existing building.

This new car park along with the reorganised roof-top car parking will provide the same number of parking spaces as the existing centre.

Visitors will have covered access from the car park to the shopping centre.
